Toronto-based developer Sam Mizrahi breaks into the Ottawa condo market with a splash

Grand opening party draws a large crowd to 1451 Wellington

The shovel hasn’t even hit the ground and already Mizrahi Developments was making its mark on Ottawa with the grand opening for its new luxury boutique condominium, 1451 Wellington.

More than 250 guests flocked to its presentation gallery, where valet parking, champagne and cocktails and canapés awaited. The building was filled with the jazzy sounds of Brian Browne on keyboard and Kelly Craig on trumpet, with catering provided by DISH (it’s just hired award-winning chef René Rodriguez)

The gallery, located on the future building site at Wellington Street West and Island Park Drive, gave guests a sense of what the finished product will look like, from elegant crown mouldings and baseboards to marble countertops and high-end appliances.

“I couldn’t be more proud tonight to display and showcase what we’ve done here and what we’re doing,” Sam Mizrahi, president and founder of Toronto-based Mizrahi Developments, told a plethora of purchasers and potential purchasers during some brief remarks.
